Why is it better to use natural deodorant?

Chemical-laden antiperspirants clog pores and make it harder for your body to sweat the way it needs to. Organic deodorant still helps to prevent odor by keeping natural bacteria from mixing with the sweat on the skin while allowing your body to sweat the way it should. So, yes! You will still sweat, you just won’t stink. Our bodies are naturally made to sweat which is part of our detoxing process. When we don’t allow our pits to sweat bacteria builds up and that is what is stinky. The bacteria mixed with the sweat. Sweat actually doesn’t smell. Our bodies naturally have bacteria and that is not such a bad thing. It’s when we don’t allow our bodies to do their job and detox that the bacteria builds up and then the yucky pit odors occur.

Important note about switching to an all natural deodorant for the first time!

If you are new to the all natural deodorant world it can take your body up to 30 days to fully adjust. Meaning it can take this long for your pits to detoxify and get control of the extra bacteria that has been taking up residence under your pits and multiplying. Your body may go into overdrive and produce more sweat while undergoing this process. Most people don’t stick with an all natural deodorant because of this. Don’t give up on your body! Apply the deodorant to clean pits in the morning and then you may need to wipe and reapply while this process is going on. It isn’t that the deodorant isn’t working, it’s just that your body is working harder. I promise it will adjust and you will be so glad you stuck it out.

My natural deodorant journey and are all natural deodorants the same?

No, they are not all the same! I can tell you that from personal experience. I have been on an all natural deodorant search for a long time. I would find one that mostly worked which meant I would use it religiously in the winter and cooler months but once the 100 plus degree summer weather hit, so long. I could not find one that could hold up. So each Fall I would go back to a different all natural hoping it would work through Louisiana summer, but nope.

I apply once a day in the morning and no matter what my day brings, trimming goat feet in 104 degrees, standing in 114 degrees at Boot Camp graduation, chasing goats around the farm because they are extremely mischievous animals, or sitting inside enjoying the ac typing this, it passes every challenge with flying colors!
